Individual Therapy
Individual therapy offers a steady, compassionate space to better understand yourself and your experiences within the broader context of your life. We work collaboratively to explore emotions, relationships, and the cultural and systemic factors that influence well-being. Therapy supports increased self-awareness, emotional flexibility, and intentional change, helping clients move forward in ways that feel grounded and aligned with their values.
Areas of Focus
Grief
Grief comes in all shapes and sizes. At times it can feel elusive and quiet; at others, explosive and all-consuming. We have specialized expertise in grief counseling and understand that grief and healing are not linear processes. We meet you in that liminal space—where loss is still present and the way forward feels unclear—so you can safely experience the full range of emotions connected to your loss and begin to chart a new path forward.
Stress & Burnout
We support individuals who feel overwhelmed, depleted, or stuck, helping them restore balance, strengthen nervous system regulation, and reconnect with a sense of purpose. Burnout can often resemble depression or anxiety, making it difficult to identify and even harder to navigate alone. Brain fog, loss of motivation, and a diminished belief in oneself are common experiences. At times, healing from burnout may require meaningful changes to return to a place of health and vitality. We are here to help you discern your needs, make meaningful changes to your environment, and develop sustainable practices that support long-term well-being and burnout prevention.
Depression
Depression can make activities of daily living feel impossible. The mood imbalance it brings on can result in feelings of heaviness, persistent sadness, and chronic shame or self-blame. It is often difficult to know where to begin, as positive change can feel out of reach.
We work with individuals to understand the emotional, relational, and situational factors contributing to their symptoms while offering a supportive, paced approach to healing. Therapy focuses on restoring a sense of hope, increasing self-compassion, and helping clients take meaningful steps toward reconnection, purpose, and a values-centered.
Chronic Illness & Chronic Pain
Living with chronic illness or chronic pain often means navigating fatigue, uncertainty, and loss—while feeling misunderstood or dismissed by others. Many people experience grief over changes in identity and a growing sense of mistrust in their own bodies after repeated setbacks or invalidating medical experiences.
We support individuals from diagnosis through long-term management in rebuilding trust with their bodies, increasing awareness of symptoms and triggers, and creating more predictability and steadiness in daily life. Our work emphasizes acceptance, helping clients live in a way that honors their limitations while still pursuing what is meaningful to them. We also focus on developing effective pain and stress management strategies, strengthening self-advocacy, and preventing medical burnout—so care feels sustainable rather than overwhelming. Together, we help clients reconnect with their values and cultivate a life that feels purposeful, fulfilling, and aligned with what matters most.
Childhood Trauma
We specialize in working with childhood trauma rooted in family-of-origin experiences, including emotional or physical abuse and chronic neglect. Therapy honors the adaptive coping strategies that supported survival in childhood while helping clients develop new skills that better fit their current lives.
Many who have experienced childhood trauma struggle with shame, self-doubt, people-pleasing or withdrawal, emotional dysregulation, dissociation, chronic pain, or feelings of emptiness. We support clients in understanding these patterns, processing grief, expanding emotional capacity, and moving toward healing and renewed possibility.
Anxiety
Anxiety is the most common mental health diagnosis and is often awarded by a society that praises productivity and preparation. Anxiety can be a driver in high-performance but also a main driver of burnout. We are here to help you untangle who YOU are from your thoughts and feelings of anxiety. Whether your anxiety began after a recent life adjustment or loss, or you’re realizing that the persistent worry and physical tension you’ve experienced for years may be the start of a chronic anxiety disorder, we are here to help. Together, we focus on developing new ways to cope with overwhelming anxiety, understanding how your nervous system responds, and strengthening trust in yourself.
Life Transitions
Life transitions—whether expected or sudden—can disrupt our sense of stability, identity, and direction. Changes such as starting or ending a relationship, becoming a parent, career shifts, relocation, health changes, or loss can bring feelings of anxiety, grief, uncertainty, or overwhelm, even when the transition is “supposed” to be positive.
We support individuals navigating life transitions in making sense of these changes, processing the emotions that arise, and restoring a sense of grounding and continuity. Therapy focuses on increasing self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, clarifying values, and helping clients move forward with intention and self-trust during times of life change.
